A&S Interchange Violation Claims

    When you are instructed to violate the interchange agreement at the Alton and Southern, we need as much detail as possible when you enter the claim. 
 
CLAIMING 130 MILES ACCOUNT CLAIMANT WAS REQUIRED TO PERFORM INCIDENTAL WORK AT THE A&S YARD ON THE MFXAS-31. ON 9-1-21 CLAIMANT FILLED HIS FIRST TRACK TO CAPACITY, THEN THE YARDMASTER INSTRUCTED CLAIMANT TO ONLY SHOVE 14 CARS INTO HIS SECOND TRACK, TRACK 129, AND CUT OFF THE HEAD 64 CARS AND SHOVE THEM OVER TO THE COTTON BELT YARD TRACK 627 AND LACE THE AIR ON THE EXISTING CARS ALREADY IN THE TRACK. CLAIMANT DID NOT FILL HIS SECOND TRACK TO CAPACITY BEFORE HIS NEXT MOVE. THIS AN INTERCHANGE VIOLATION AND THIS WORK IS TO BE PERFORMED BY A&S YARD JOBS WHO WERE ON DUTY WHILE THIS WORK WAS BEING PERFORMED.
 
The above is the typical language we are getting on claims.
 
This is excellent language the only thing we need in addition to the above is the language that your train would have fit in 2 tracks and 3 were used.

THIS AN INTERCHANGE VIOLATION AND THIS WORK IS TO BE PERFORMED BY A&S YARD JOBS WHO WERE ON DUTY WHILE THIS WORK WAS BEING PERFORMED.
 
Labor Relations is being picky when it comes to these types of claims due to pushback from the A&S and the Service Unit. The more details we can include the easier it is for payment.
